Areas We Serve
Gunite is the construction method behind the majority of custom pools in the Houston area, because it is the one engineered to handle Gulf Coast clay soil without the cracking and settling issues a prefabricated shell or a shortcut pour runs into.
Counties: Harris, Fort Bend & Montgomery counties
Local Notes
This site is dedicated to a single build method: gunite (shotcrete) construction, rebar cage, sprayed and hand-finished concrete, engineered bond beams, and a design that can be shaped to anything the lot allows, from tanning ledges to negative edges to integrated spas.
Houston-area summers mean the pool and its equipment run hard for most of the year; a properly sized pump and filter, and a plaster or pebble finish rated for year-round sun exposure, save on repair calls down the line.
How This Works as a Service-Area Business
Houston Gunite Pools doesn't operate a storefront in each neighborhood listed above, pool builders work on-site at your property, not out of a retail location. We travel to every area listed here for site evaluations, construction, and service calls, with the same single-builder team handling the project start to finish regardless of which neighborhood it's in.
What a Site Evaluation Covers
Wherever your property falls within this area, the first visit covers the same ground: soil and drainage, existing structures or trees near the proposed footprint, utility and equipment access, and any HOA or permitting path specific to that neighborhood. That evaluation is what the Design & Planning step is built on, see Our Process.
